Traxxas Slash 4x4 Upgrades
Here at RCJudge we love to go into detail about everything and this review wouldn't be complete without talking about some of the possible upgrades. Here are some of the basic upgrades you can make on it.
The shocks are perhaps one of the most popular upgrades you'll find among other hobbyist. If you want to increase the speed you might consider changing out the motor for a Titan 12T. The power system would also be another possible change you could make.
You could also possibly try switching the NiMH batteries to a 3S lipo battery. Personally unless you're using it to race you should be fine with a 3S however if you are planning on racing with it then definitely try out a 3S lipo. Learn more about lipo batteries here.
Platinum or Ultimate?
You might have already heard of a certain Slash before. Well it's course there is two types out there such as the Traxxas Slash Platinum and the Traxxas Slash Ultimate. One of the major differences between these models is the price, battery and radio.
So far we definitely loved the Traxxas Slash 4x4. It was one of the best trucks we have ever tried out. The price might be a bit expensive for some but we believe the benefits out weight the price. With a nicely built frame and excellent technology specs it's one of the top players in the market. Traxxas did an amazing job with it and we hope you enjoyed the review.
